Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born to a music-loving family. The majority of her early years listening to classic music, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with older classical songs. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, and the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense singing instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her place in the southern part of California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events, performing traditional Latin American Music. She is passionate about performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her passion and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
